VERSION 1.0 · PUBLISHED
Editorial Policy
Our aim is to publish useful, clearly attributed information about AI governance, risk and compliance without overstating what the evidence supports.
Content types
We distinguish between:
- original articles and practical commentary;
- illustrative scenarios and sample deliverables;
- authorised client case studies;
- automated source summaries and news links.
Illustrative material is not presented as completed client work.
Sources and context
We prioritise relevant primary sources, including legislation, regulators, standards bodies and official publications.
Where a claim depends on a source, we aim to provide a link and sufficient context for readers to understand its scope.
We distinguish legal requirements from guidance, voluntary standards, proposals and commentary. Applicability can depend on jurisdiction, organisational status, activities and the particular use of AI.
Dates and updates
Articles should display their publication date and, where materially revised, an updated date.
A publication date is not a promise that the article reflects every subsequent change. Readers should consult the linked source and obtain appropriate advice for current decisions.
Original and AI-assisted content
Original articles are reviewed by a responsible editor before publication.
If generative AI materially assists with drafting or analysis, the responsible editor must check the factual basis, sources and final wording. AI assistance does not replace editorial responsibility.
We do not fabricate citations, quotations, qualifications, cases or research findings.
Automated news
Automated news publication is not currently active.
If enabled, it will use selected RSS or API sources and rule-based checks to select, format and publish permitted source summaries. The planned workflow does not use generative AI to rewrite news.
Automated items may be published without individual human review. They will be clearly labelled and linked to their original sources.
Checks may cover source approval, required fields, publication date, relevance, duplication and unsafe content. These checks are not independent verification that every source statement is factually correct.
An automated item is not our legal interpretation, endorsement or advice to take a particular action.
Copyright and attribution
We use third-party content only where an appropriate permission, licence or other lawful basis has been identified.
A publicly accessible page or RSS feed is not treated as automatic permission to republish its full content. Attribution alone is not treated as a substitute for permission.
We respect source-specific conditions and do not routinely reproduce full articles, source photographs or logos.
Corrections and withdrawals
If an error or rights concern is reported, we review the relevant content and supporting information.
We may correct, annotate, unpublish or withdraw an item. Material corrections should be explained where appropriate.
We do not promise continuous monitoring of every external source. If we become aware of a source correction or withdrawal that affects our content, we will assess whether an update or removal is needed.
Commercial interests and client information
Any sponsored content or material commercial relationship relevant to an article should be clearly disclosed.
Client names, testimonials and identifiable case details are published only with appropriate permission. Confidential client information is not used to populate news or demonstration content.
